Terms and Conditions for Providers of The Collective Journey™

By joining The Collective Journey™ as a Providers, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These guidelines are designed to foster a mutually beneficial partnership while protecting the integrity and mission of The Collective Journey™.
1. Shared Data Policy
1.1 Collaborative Growth Model
The Collective Journey™ (TCJ) thrives on a model of collaborative visibility and shared growth. By contributing their contact lists, Providers unlock access to TCJ’s platforms for promotion, connection, and expansion.
1.2 Purpose & Confidentiality
- Contact lists are used exclusively for TCJ marketing efforts, including newsletters, event announcements, and collaborative promotions.
- Data is securely stored and never sold or shared outside of The Collective Journey™.
1.3 Provider Eligibility
- Providers become eligible for participation in TCJ promotions only once their contact list has been submitted.
- “Participation” includes being listed in the Provider Directory, posting events on the TCJ website & Meetup, and being featured or promoted in TCJ newsletters.
- Contact lists should be submitted in CSV format to [email protected].
- Providers are not required to submit any contacts whose inclusion would violate HIPAA, confidentiality agreements, or applicable laws. However, we expect Providers to contribute contacts from newsletter opt-ins, professional/marketing connections, and other audiences that do not pose a legal or ethical concern.
- Providers are encouraged to update their contact list every three (3) months to help keep the shared database current.
1.4 Benefits of Submission
Once Providers share their contact lists, they gain access to:
- Provider Directory Listing on the TCJ Website
- Event Posting Privileges on the TCJ Website & Meetup
- Newsletter Features & Promotions within TCJ’s community outreach
1.5 Opt-Out Policy
Providers who choose not to submit a contact list remain part of the community but will not be included in:
- The TCJ Website Provider Directory
- Event postings on the TCJ Website
- Newsletter features or promotional highlights
They remain obligated to fulfill the full 12-month membership contract.
2. Providers Profile on the Platform
2.1 Providers will be featured in The Collective Journey™ database and Providers Directory.
- A professional profile picture and a brief bio are required for inclusion on the platform.
- Updates to your profile must be submitted in writing to the Providers Support Team at [email protected]
3. Commitment to a 12-Month Contract
3.1 Providers commit to a minimum 12-month partnership.
- This ensures stability, consistency, and the resources required to collaboratively grow the platform.
4. Communication and Promotion Requirements
4.1 Email Communication
- Providers agree to email their followers:
- An introductory email announcing their collaboration with The Collective Journey™ within seven (7) days of joining. Content templates will be provided.
- Additional follow-up emails every three (3) months, using content provided by The Collective Journey™.
4.2 Social Media Engagement
- Providers must post at least one (1) piece of promotional content per month on their social media channels. Content templates will be provided by The Collective Journey™.
5. Branding and Logo Submission
5.1 Providers in all package tiers, except the $14.99/month plan, are required to provide branding assets (logos and related materials) for marketing purposes.
5.2 Providers without existing branding are encouraged to seek professional design services, such as through Fiverr or similar platforms, and to complete this requirement promptly to maximize visibility.
6. Payment Processing Terms
6.1 The client will be billed starting on the date they sign up, and will continue to be automatically billed on that same date each month moving forward.
6.2 Referral Bonuses
- Any referral bonuses earned by Providers will be credited to their The Collective Journey™ account balance, not as a credit to their credit card.
- Providers can use the credited referral bonuses toward future payments for support packages or other services offered by The Collective Journey™.
6.3 Failed Payments
- In the event of a failed payment (e.g., insufficient funds, expired card), Providers will be notified and given a seven (7)-day grace period to update their payment information.
- Failure to resolve payment issues within this timeframe may result in suspension of services until payment is successfully processed.
7. Code of Conduct
Providers are expected to uphold the following standards:
7.1 Maintain professionalism and respect in interactions with clients, followers, and fellow Providers.
7.2 Ensure all content, communications, and events align with the values and mission of The Collective Journey™.
7.3 Adhere to applicable laws, ethical guidelines, and best practices in your area of expertise.
8. Termination of Agreement
8.1 Providers may terminate their contract at the end of the 12-month period by providing written notice at least thirty (30) days before the renewal date.
8.2 The Collective Journey™ reserves the right to terminate the agreement for:
- Non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Behavior that contradicts the values or mission of The Collective Journey™.
9. Dispute Resolution and Legal Protections
9.1 Arbitration Agreement
- Any disputes or claims arising out of or relating to these Terms, your relationship with The Collective Journey™, or your use of our services will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration.
- Arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and will take place in Lake County, Illinois.
- By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to file or participate in a lawsuit in court, except for small claims that qualify to be brought in small claims court.
9.2 Class Action Waiver
- You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis.
- You expressly waive any right to file or participate in a class action lawsuit or consolidated arbitration against The Collective Journey™.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- If a court finds the arbitration provision unenforceable, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lake County, Illinois.
9.4 Severability of Provisions
- If any provision of this section is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
- Providers who work under HIPAA compliance are required to follow our approved contact-sharing protocol, outlined in our HIPAA-Compliant Best Practices Guide. This includes obtaining proper consent or issuing outreach to invite opt-ins. Compliance with this protocol is a condition of participation in The Collective Journey™.
10. Updates to Terms and Conditions
10.1 The Collective Journey™ may update these Terms and Conditions with thirty (30) days’ notice.
10.2 Updates will be communicated via email and the Providers Portal.
